Magic Potion Bottle Ink Swatching - Art Supplies List

I'm back with another ink swatch, and I have to tell you — I've become completely obsessed with this bottle stamp swatching method! By the end of this sketchbook, I'll have a whole collection of magic potion bottles filled with gorgeous colors.

The idea is wonderfully simple: I stamp tiny ink bottles on the page and then swatch the actual ink color inside each one. It's such a fun and creative way to build a color reference collection, and the result has this enchanting, almost apothecary-style aesthetic that I absolutely love.

There's something magical about seeing all these little potion bottles lined up on the page, each one filled with shimmering, vibrant color. It transforms a practical reference tool into something that feels like it belongs in a wizard's study!

This time, I swatched a stunning color from Ferris Wheels Press:

🗡️ Bloom of Ascension from the Ferritales | 2026 The Book of Knights Series - A brilliant purple with green shimmer

This ink is absolutely gorgeous! The rich purple base combined with that unexpected green shimmer creates such a magical, multidimensional effect. It's the kind of color that changes as the light hits it, making it perfect for adding that extra touch of enchantment to any project.
