Collage Doodle Therapy - Colorful Rainbows

Zentangle rainbows.

I make doodles daily, and over time I developed this little technique of gluing heavy magazine page bits onto the paper to work as a background — partly because I love how it looks, and partly because I really don't like wasting paper! 😄

The collage pieces end up guiding the whole doodle flow, and there's something really freeing about that. You're not starting from a blank page, you're just responding to what's already there. It's fun, it's relaxing, and honestly it's one of my favorite ways to decompress.

For this background I used something you've been asking me about for a while — distress ink, applied with a foam finger brush. That's the secret! 🎨
